Weeknight Closures on Route 724 for Utility Work in Chester County

EAST PIKELAND TWP, PA — PECO Energy will begin utility construction in Chester County, causing weeknight closures on Route 724 (Schuylkill Road) from May 28 to October 31. The affected area spans between Hares Hill Road and Spring Hollow Road in East Pikeland Township.

Closures will occur from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM the following morning. During these hours, motorists will be directed to use Route 23 (Ridge Road), Bridge Street, and Route 724 (Schuylkill Road). Local access will be maintained up to the work zone.

Drivers should plan for extra travel time as traffic backups and delays are expected. All activities are weather dependent and subject to change.
