EAST WHITELAND TWP, PA — Aqua PA will conduct utility construction on Swedesford Road in East Whiteland Township, Chester County, next week.

From Monday, August 19, through Friday, August 23, Swedesford Road will be closed and detoured between Planebrook Road/Phoenixville Pike and Church Road. The road will be closed from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM each day. During the closure, motorists will need to follow detour routes via Planebrook Road, U.S. 30 (Lancaster Avenue), and Church Road.

Local access will remain available up to the work zone. Motorists should allow extra travel time due to expected backups and delays. All scheduled activities are subject to weather conditions.

Aqua PA will carry out the construction under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit, ensuring compliance with all necessary regulations.
