Road work

DOWNINGTOWN, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has announced that bridge deck repair on westbound U.S. 30 (Coatesville Downingtown Bypass) will cause traffic disruptions next week.

From Monday, July 22, through Friday, July 26, a lane closure will be in effect on westbound U.S. 30 over Norwood Road. The closure will occur daily from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Motorists should expect traffic backups and delays. PennDOT advises drivers to allow extra time when traveling through the area. The schedule is weather dependent.

Drivers are encouraged to plan alternate routes and stay informed about traffic updates to minimize disruptions.
