Stormwater Improvements to Cause Lane Closures in Three Counties

Traffic Alert

SOUTHEASTERN PENNSYLVANIA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced that stormwater improvements will take place next week on several state highways, resulting in lane closures.

From Monday, June 10, through Friday, June 14, motorists should expect delays at the following locations:

  • Highland Avenue between Avenue F and Hulmeville Road in Middletown Township, Bucks County, from 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM for paving.
  • Cedar Hollow Road between Jacqueline Diver and West Central Avenue in Willistown Township, Chester County, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM for stormwater replacement.
  • Cedar Grove Road between Hector Street and Joshua Road in Whitemarsh Township, Montgomery County, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM for stormwater replacement.

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through these work areas as backups and delays are expected. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.

Highway Materials, Inc. of Flourtown, Montgomery County, is the general contractor for this project. PennDOT aims to complete these improvements efficiently while minimizing inconvenience to commuters.
