Road Work Alert: Lane Closures in Chester County for Line Striping

CHESTER COUNTY, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) today that construction activities are scheduled on several state highways in Chester County.

The work schedules and locations are:

  • Monday, July 31, through Friday, August 4, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Business U.S. 30 (Lancaster Avenue/Lincoln Highway) between the U.S. 30 and the U.S. 202 interchanges in Sadsbury, Valley, Caln, East Caln and West Whiteland townships, City of Coatesville, and Downingtown Borough for line striping; and
  • Monday, July 31, through Friday, August 4, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Route 841 (Coatesville Road/Chatham Road/Prospect Avenue/Wickerton Road/Chesterville Road between Route 926 (Street Road) and the Maryland State line in London Grove and Franklin townships and West Grove Borough for line striping.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because slowdowns may occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
