KENNETT SQUARE, PA — Kennett Square Borough will be performing utility improvements on Route 82 (South Street) in Kennett Square Borough, Chester County.
On Sunday, September 24, and Monday, September 25, from 7:00 PM to 6:00 AM the following morning, Route 82 (South Street) will be closed at the intersection with Route 82 (Union Street). During the closure, motorists will be directed to use Cypress Street, Broad Street, Mulberry Street, Center Street, Route 82 (South Street), Lafayette Street, and Scarlett Avenue.
Local access will be maintained up to the work zone. Motorists are being advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
Kennett Square Borough will complete this project under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
