Plan Ahead! Chester County’s Chestnut Tree Road to Close for Repairs

Traffic Advisory

CHESTER COUNTY, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has announced a scheduled pipe replacement that will temporarily close Chestnut Tree Road in Honey Brook and West Nantmeal townships.

The closure, set for Tuesday, April 15, and Wednesday, April 16, will span from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM each day. The affected section of the road lies between White School Road and Morgantown Road. A detour will be in place, directing motorists to use White School Road and Morgantown Road. Local access will still be maintained for residents within the closure area.

PennDOT advises drivers traveling near the work zone to allow extra time, as delays and backups are anticipated. The department has stressed that all activities are weather dependent and subject to change as needed.

Motorists are encouraged to plan their routes accordingly to minimize disruptions during the project.
