WEST NANTMEAL TWP, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has announced a pipe replacement project that will temporarily close Lewis Mills Road at its intersection with Route 82 (Manor Road) in Chester County. The closure will run from Monday, April 21, through Friday, May 2, between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. on weekdays.
During the project, motorists will be directed to follow a detour utilizing Route 82, Creek Road, and Lewis Mills Road. Local access for residents will be maintained; however, drivers are advised to allow for extra travel time as delays and traffic backups are expected in the area.
