CHESTER COUNTY, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has announced that resurfacing work will take place in Chester County next week. The project aims to improve road conditions and enhance safety for motorists.

From Monday, August 5, through Friday, August 9, a single lane closure is scheduled on Saint Peters Road. The affected area stretches between School Road and Temple Road in Warwick and North Coventry townships. The lane will be closed from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM each day for paving activities.

PennDOT advises drivers to allow extra travel time due to expected backups and delays. All scheduled activities are subject to weather conditions.

These resurfacing projects involve repairing, milling, and repaving state highways. The new asphalt pavement will seal the roadways, providing a smoother and safer driving surface for motorists.
