Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT)

WEST PIKELAND TOWNSHIP, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has announced a live virtual public meeting to discuss the upcoming project to replace two bridges on Art School Road in West Pikeland Township, Chester County. The bridges span a branch of Pickering Creek.

As part of its public outreach program, PennDOT is encouraging residents to participate in the online meeting scheduled for Tuesday, December 5, at 6:30 PM. The department’s design team will present project details and field questions from attendees through the Q&A feature of the Microsoft Live Teams platform.

To join the meeting, participants will need internet access and a computer or mobile device. Those with special needs or requiring assistance to attend the meeting are asked to contact PennDOT Project Manager Qiong Liu at 610-205-6631.

For those unable to attend the live session, a recording of the meeting and related materials will be available on the project’s webpage after the presentation. In addition, the public can provide feedback on the project via an online comment form.

This bridge replacement project is important for maintaining safe and efficient travel in the area. By attending the virtual public meeting, residents can gain a better understanding of the project and have their questions answered directly by the design team.
