SOUTHEASTERN PENNSYLVANIA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that paving operations are scheduled to take place on Route 213, Cedar Hollow Road, and Highland Avenue in Bucks and Chester counties. This work is part of a broader project aimed at upgrading stormwater management facilities across the five-county Philadelphia region.
From Monday, August 5, through Friday, August 9, lane closures will occur between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM at the following locations:
- Route 213 (Maple Avenue/Old Lincoln Highway) between Wheeler Way and Woodbourne Road in Middletown Township, Bucks County.
- Highland Avenue between Avenue F and Hulmeville Road in Middletown Township, Bucks County.
- Cedar Hollow Road between Jacqueline Drive and West Central Avenue in Willistown Township, Chester County.
Motorists should anticipate traffic backups and delays when traveling through these work zones. PennDOT advises drivers to allow extra time for their commutes and to plan accordingly. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
Highway Materials, Inc., based in Flourtown, Montgomery County, is the general contractor responsible for the execution of this project. The project represents a significant investment in the region’s infrastructure, aiming to enhance road safety and improve stormwater management.
