WILLISTOWN TWP, PA — PECO Energy has announced utility construction on Central Avenue in Willistown Township, Chester County, scheduled to begin on Monday, March 24. The project, intended to improve utility infrastructure in the area, will run through Friday, April 18.
During this time, Central Avenue will be closed to through traffic weekdays from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM between North Valley Road and Rollingview Drive. Motorists traveling in the area will be directed to follow a detour route, which includes North Valley Road, U.S. 30 (Lancaster Avenue), and Central Avenue.
Local access to properties within the area of the construction will be maintained up to the work zone. PECO Energy is advising drivers to plan for additional travel time as backups and delays are expected near the work site.
The construction schedule is weather dependent, and adjustments may occur based on conditions. PECO Energy has expressed its appreciation for the public’s patience and cooperation as work progresses on these critical upgrades.
