Road construction

CHESTER COUNTY, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has announced the scheduled paving of Route 841 (Wickerton Road) in London Grove and Franklin Townships, Chester County. This project will involve lane closures from Monday, September 9, to Friday, September 13, between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM.

Route 841 will be closed between Chesterville Road and State Road during the paving. Motorists are advised to plan for additional travel time due to expected traffic delays. The paving schedule remains dependent on weather conditions.

Highway Materials, Inc., based in Flourtown, Montgomery County, serves as the general contractor. The initiative is fully funded by state resources, highlighting PennDOT’s commitment to maintaining and improving local infrastructure.
