KENNETT TWP, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has scheduled essential pipe replacement work on Old Kennett Pike next week. This infrastructure project will require a temporary road closure from Wednesday, September 11, to Thursday, September 12, between Bayard Road and Burnt Mill Road. The closure will be in effect from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM each day.
Motorists are advised to follow detoured routes via Burnt Mill Road, Norway Road, Woodward Road, and Bayard Road. These detours are designed to facilitate smooth traffic flow while ensuring safety around the construction site.
