Heads Up, Commuters: Phoenixville Pike to Close for Utility Improvements

Traffic Advisory

WEST GOSHEN TWP, PA — West Goshen Township is gearing up for utility improvements on Phoenixville Pike in Chester County. Motorists are advised to brace for traffic disruptions as the road will be temporarily closed at the intersection with Greenhill Road.

On Wednesday, February 14, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, this stretch of Phoenixville Pike will be off-limits to traffic. During the closure, motorists are directed to use Karen Lane and Greenhill Road as detour routes. While this may cause some inconvenience, it’s a necessary step to facilitate the crucial utility upgrades.

Local access will be maintained up to the work zone, ensuring minimal disruption for local residents. However, those traveling near the work area should allow extra time for their journey. Given the nature of the work, backups and delays are expected.

As always, these scheduled activities are weather-dependent, and the township will aim to complete the work as swiftly and efficiently as possible. In the meantime, drivers are encouraged to plan their routes and schedules accordingly to accommodate the upcoming changes.
