Expect Traffic Delays: PECO Utility Improvement to Close Conestoga Road in Easttown and Tredyffrin Townships

CHESTER COUNTY, PA — PECO Energy is expected to perform utility construction on Conestoga Road in Easttown and Tredyffrin townships, Chester County, beginning Thursday, November 2.

On Thursday, November 2, through Thursday, November 30, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Conestoga Road will be closed and detoured weekdays between Devon State Road and Margo Lane. During the closure, motorists will be directed to use Devon State Road/Valley Forge Road, Route 252 (Swedesford Road), Cassatt Road, and Conestoga Road.

Local access will be maintained up to the work zone. Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.

PECO Energy will complete these projects under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
