Chester County Drivers: Plan Ahead for Chestnut Tree Road Closures Tomorrow

Travel Restrictions

CHESTER COUNTY, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has announced the scheduled closure of Chestnut Tree Road in Honey Brook and West Nantmeal townships for pipe replacement work. The closure will take place on Thursday, April 3, and Friday, April 4, between 7:00 AM and 3:00 PM.

The affected section of Chestnut Tree Road lies between White School Road and Morgantown Road. During this period, motorists will need to follow a detour that directs traffic to White School Road and Morgantown Road. PennDOT has confirmed that local access will be maintained up to the work zone.

Drivers are being advised to allocate additional travel time as delays and congestion are anticipated. PennDOT also emphasizes that all work schedules are weather dependent and may be adjusted if necessary.
