CHESTER COUNTY, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has announced upcoming road maintenance work across Chester County aimed at addressing potholes on several state highways. Motorists should expect travel restrictions and potential slowdowns as crews conduct these essential repairs.
Work will take place along key routes, including
- U.S. 30 (Lincoln Highway) in Sadsbury, Valley, Caln, East Caln, and West Whiteland townships, and
- U.S. 202 in Tredyffrin, East Whiteland, and West Goshen townships.
Additional locations affected by patching operations include
- Chestnut Tree Road in Honeybrook Township,
- Corner Ketch Road in East Brandywine Township,
- Hollow Road in West Vincent Township,
- Merlin Road in Charlestown Township, and
- Old Baltimore Pike in Lower Oxford Township.
PennDOT urges drivers to practice caution when traveling through active work zones. “Slow down in the work zone and refrain from distracted driving to keep yourselves and our workers safe,” the agency emphasized.
Motorists can report potholes directly to PennDOT through the Customer Care Center online. This initiative is part of the department’s continuing effort to enhance road conditions and ensure safety for all travelers.
