KING OF PRUSSIA, PA — Washington Memorial Chapel’s Veteran’s Commission has announced that it will host a special Veterans Day Service and Reception on Monday, November 11 at 11 AM at the Washington Memorial Chapel in Valley Forge.
The heartfelt Choral Matins Service will honor, remember, and celebrate all Veterans for their bravery, selflessness, and love of country. This year, the Veteran’s Commission is proud to reveal that special guest speakers May Tiger, a British Army Nurse during WWII, and Carol Mellom, an Air Force Nurse during Desert Shield and Iraqi Freedom, will be on hand to share their inspiring personal stories and experiences, shedding light on the evolving role of military nurses and the challenges they faced. The Rt. Rev’d Daniel G.P. Gutiérrezwill also be in attendance.
