WEST BRANDYWINE, PA — Freedom Village at Brandywine celebrated its involvement in the Life Care Services (LCS) Foundation Awareness Week, held April 7-11, by raising $500 through creative fundraising activities.
The funds were generated from initiatives such as a 50/50 raffle, a plant sale, and a staff “casual dress down day.” Residents and employees joined forces to support the foundation, which focuses on advancing leadership in senior living, providing Alzheimer’s care and research funding, and offering financial relief to LCS employees in crisis.
“We are proud to support the LCS Foundation and its important work, especially because it makes a significant impact not only on our team members but also on the broader community,” said Danielle Geyer, Executive Director of Freedom Village at Brandywine.
The success of the fundraiser reflects Freedom Village’s commitment to fostering a strong community spirit while contributing to vital causes that benefit both individuals and the senior living industry.
