WILMINGTON, DE — Authorities are investigating a fatal shooting that took place Friday afternoon in Wilmington, claiming the life of a 24-year-old man.

At approximately 2:38 p.m. on March 28, officers were dispatched to the area of Lobdell and Bradford Streets in response to reports of gunfire. Upon arrival, police discovered a male victim suffering from gunshot wounds. He was transported to the hospital in critical condition but tragically succumbed to his injuries shortly after.
