WILMINGTON, DE — Authorities in Wilmington are actively investigating a shooting incident that occurred early this morning on the 200 block of West 26th Street. The Wilmington Police Department responded to reports of gunfire at approximately 6:12 a.m., resulting in two individuals being transported to the hospital.

Upon arrival, officers discovered a 22-year-old male who had sustained a gunshot wound. He was promptly taken to a medical facility and is reportedly in stable condition. A second victim, a 33-year-old male, was also found at the scene with gunshot injuries and was transported to the hospital in critical condition. The current status of both victims continues to be monitored as they receive medical care.
