WILMINGTON, DE — The Wilmington Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying two individuals believed to be involved in an attempted vehicle theft earlier this month.
The incident occurred on March 9, 2025, at approximately 7:25 p.m. in the 700 block of South Rodney Street. According to police, two suspects accessed a vehicle and attempted to start it by exploiting a security vulnerability. While the suspects were unsuccessful in starting the vehicle, they caused damage to its interior before leaving the area.
Authorities have released surveillance images of the suspects and are seeking information that could help identify them.
