Wilmington Police Probe Afternoon Shooting, Two Hospitalized

WILMINGTON, DE — On the afternoon of October 31, 2024, a shooting incident in the 2900 block of Washington Street has prompted an active investigation by the Wilmington Police Department. The event, which took place at approximately 4:27 p.m., resulted in two young men being hospitalized.

Responding to the scene, officers discovered two gunshot victims: a 19-year-old male and a 20-year-old male. Both individuals were promptly transported to the hospital, where they are currently reported to be in stable condition.
