Wilmington Police Arrest Man, Seize Drugs in Alleged Trafficking Operation

WILMINGTON, DE — A man has been arrested on multiple drug-related allegations following an operation by the Drug, Organized Crime, and Vice Division of the Wilmington Police Department.

On January 23, 2025, at approximately 12:03 p.m., officers conducting surveillance in the 800 block of Kirkwood Street observed suspected drug activity involving 43-year-old Donelle Harris. Authorities took Harris into custody without incident and reportedly confiscated 1.6 grams of crack cocaine, seven Oxycodone pills, 34 Alprazolam pills, and drug-related paraphernalia.

Harris faces charges including three counts of possession of a controlled substance with the intent to deliver, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was arraigned in the New Castle County Court of Common Pleas and released after posting $30,400 secured bail.

Law enforcement emphasizes that these charges are allegations and that Harris is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
