On April 7, 2020, at approximately 4:52 a.m., officers responded to reports of gunfire in the 200 block of North Madison Street. Upon arrival, they discovered Ms. Johnson, who had suffered a gunshot wound. Despite medical efforts, she was pronounced deceased due to her injuries.
