PHILADELPHIA, PA — Authorities are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect caught on surveillance footage during an alleged burglary at a mini market in South Philadelphia.

According to the Philadelphia Police Department, the incident occurred on March 31, 2025, at approximately 2:15 a.m. when an unidentified white male reportedly broke into La Truchita Nica Mini Market, located at 1146 S. 9th Street. Surveillance footage revealed that the suspect allegedly gained entry by removing an air conditioning unit from a rear window. Once inside, the individual reportedly seized the store’s cash register before fleeing the scene in an unknown direction.

Police have not released further details about the value of the items inside the stolen cash register or any additional damage caused during the incident.
