PHILADELPHIA, PA — Authorities in Philadelphia are requesting assistance from the public as they work to identify individuals allegedly involved in a series of assaults on Temple University’s campus. Police say the incidents, which occurred on the evening of April 19, 2025, have left multiple victims injured and heightened concerns for campus safety.

According to the Philadelphia Police Department, the assaults took place between 7:50 p.m. and 8:50 p.m. at various locations on the university’s grounds. Victims reported being attacked by groups of juveniles in what police are describing as coordinated and unprovoked incidents. Specific details about the total number of victims have not been disclosed; however, one victim recounted being assaulted by multiple suspects outside 1200 Cecil B. Moore Avenue. This individual sustained injuries that required medical attention at Temple Hospital.

Authorities believe the suspects responsible for these attacks can be identified with the public’s help. Investigators from the Central Detective Division have released video footage related to the case and are urging anyone with information to come forward. Law enforcement officials stressed the importance of not approaching the suspects if seen and instead advised calling 911 immediately.

The police have established several avenues for submitting tips, emphasizing confidentiality.
