OXFORD, PA — A man from West Grove was arrested on multiple charges following an alleged domestic disturbance that led to a break-in at an Oxford residence on November 25, 2023.

Oxford Police were dispatched to a property on the 600 block of Market Street at 5:31 am after receiving reports of a domestic disturbance. Upon arrival, officers made contact with a female victim who stated that German Flores-Ortiz, a 27-year-old West Grove resident, had allegedly broken into her residence through a basement door.

Once inside, Flores-Ortiz reportedly confronted the victim, who ordered him to leave. As the victim was dialing the police, Flores-Ortiz fled the scene.

With the assistance of the Southern Chester County Regional Police Department, Oxford officers located Flores-Ortiz at his residence and took him into custody. He was then transported to the Oxford Police Department for processing before being taken by constables to Chester County Prison.

Flores-Ortiz was arraigned and subsequently released on a $5000 / 10% bail. A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for January 2, 2024, at the Oxford District Court.

The charges against Flores-Ortiz include criminal trespass, loitering and prowling at nighttime, harassment, and criminal mischief. These charges, at this point, are allegations. The accused is considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
