West Chester Woman Arrested for Break-In

WEST CHESTER, PA — A local woman has been arrested and charged with multiple offenses following a reported break-in on W Miner Street.

The criminal complaint alleges that on August 30, 2023, at approximately 1:05 PM, West Chester Police responded to a residence in the 100 block of W Miner Street. The call was placed by a local resident who reported a neighboring female breaking and entering their apartment.

Upon arrival at the scene, officers met with the victim and processed the scene for evidence. The suspect, identified as 45-year-old Jenay Ramsey from West Chester, PA, was promptly located and arrested.

Ramsey has been charged with Criminal Trespassing, Criminal Mischief, and Disorderly Conduct. According to the West Chester Police Department, a preliminary hearing for Ramsey is pending at District Court 15-1-01.

It remains unclear what motivated the alleged break-in, and the investigation is ongoing.
