West Chester Assault: 25-Year-Old Coatesville Man Faces Charges

 WEST CHESTER, PA — A 25-year-old man from Coatesville, Pennsylvania, has been charged following an assault incident in downtown West Chester in the early hours of July 16, 2023.

West Chester police officers responded to a report of a fight at approximately 2:30 AM, at the intersection of High and Gay Streets. Upon arrival, they encountered a male victim with visible injuries who reported being assaulted by an unknown male or males.

Through their subsequent investigation, officers were able to identify 25-year-old Ronnell Hines of Coatesville, PA as an alleged attacker.

Hines was arrested on August 25, 2023, and is now facing charges of Simple Assault and related offenses. Further court action is pending against him.
