WEST CHESTER, PA — The Chester County District Attorney’s Office and the Tredyffrin Township Police Department announced the arrest yesterday of James Godorecci, a 56-year-old dentist from Wayne, PA. Godorecci is facing charges of indecent assault and harassment following allegations made by a patient at his dental practice, Main Line Dental Aesthetics in Tredyffrin Township, Chester County.

According to the criminal complaint filed by the Tredyffrin Township Police Department, the alleged assault took place during a dental visit on January 3, 2024. The victim, who had scheduled an emergency appointment due to her health condition, alleges that Godorecci fondled her breasts during a therapeutic procedure without her consent.

After his arrest, Godorecci was presented before Magisterial District Judge Lauren Holt, who set an unsecured bail of $25,000. As part of his bail conditions, Godorecci is forbidden from contacting the victim and is required to notify the state licensing board about the charges against him. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for February 22, 2024, at 1:00 pm.

The Tredyffrin Township Police Department is actively investigating the case, and Chester County Deputy District Attorney Kathleen Wright is the assigned prosecutor. Detective Michael Cermignano encourages anyone with relevant information to contact him at 610-408-3651.

As always, it is important to remember that a criminal complaint or an arrest does not constitute a declaration of guilt. Every suspect, arrestee, or defendant, including Godorecci, is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
