Upper Darby Man Arrested and Stolen Vehicle Recovered by West Chester Police

WEST CHESTER, PA — The West Chester Police Department announced the arrest of a 22-year-old Upper Darby resident and the recovery of a stolen motor vehicle.

Rayvon Camp has been charged with Receiving Stolen Property and related criminal offenses.

The criminal complaint alleges that on June 29, 2023, at approximately 12:40 p.m., officers of the West Chester Police Department located a vehicle with a reported stolen registration plate in the 600 block of E. Market Street.  An investigative stop was conducted where the operator, 22-year-old Rayvon Camp from Upper Darby, was contacted.  Through an investigation, the vehicle was found to be reported stolen in addition to the registration plate that belonged to another vehicle.  Camp was taken into custody without incident.

A preliminary hearing is pending at Chester County Magisterial District Court 15-1-04.
