WILMINGTON, DE — The Wilmington Police Department’s Cold Case Unit is reaching out to the public for assistance in solving the 2019 murder case of Kenyotta Manuel. On the evening of September 16, 2019, at approximately 6:54 p.m., officers responded to reports of gunfire in the 1000 block of North Van Buren Street. Upon arrival, they discovered 21-year-old Kenyotta Manuel who had been shot. Tragically, Manuel succumbed to his injuries.
Despite ongoing investigations, the case remains unresolved, prompting the Cold Case Unit to appeal to the community for any information that could aid in solving this crime. Authorities encourage anyone with details related to this investigation, or any other cold cases, to come forward.
