Unlicensed Driver Causes Injury Crash in West Chester, Faces Charges

WEST CHESTER, PA — A significant traffic incident occurred in West Chester on Wednesday, November 22nd, 2023, leading to the arrest of an unlicensed driver. West Chester Police Department officers responded to a reported crash at the intersection of Lenape Rd and Shropshire Rd, which resulted in injuries.

Upon arrival, officers made contact with the alleged offender, identified as 34-year-old Clemente Salomon-Dominguez. It is alleged that Salomon-Dominguez caused the accident, leading to minor injuries sustained by another driver involved in the crash.

Following the incident, Salomon-Dominguez was taken into custody and transported to the West Chester Police Department for processing. He was later transported to District Court 15-1-04 for arraignment. Salomon-Dominguez has since been released pending a preliminary hearing.

He faces charges including one count of accidents involving death or personal injury while not properly licensed. The police report ID for this incident is WC-23-36189.
