WEST CHESTER, PA — Two men have been arrested and charged in connection with a series of retail thefts across multiple counties. Donte Reynolds, 29, from Upper Darby, PA, and Marcus Washington, 34, from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, were identified as the alleged perpetrators behind the theft of nearly $5,000 worth of Apple products from various T-Mobile stores.

The Westtown-East Goshen Regional Police Department responded to a call on September 7, 2023, at 12:00 PM, reporting a theft at a T-Mobile store located in the 1300 block of Dilworthtown Road, Thornbury Township. After a thorough investigation, the authorities identified Reynolds and Washington as the subjects who allegedly stole items not just from the Thornbury location, but also from other T-Mobile stores across Chester, Delaware, and Montgomery counties.

Both men were arrested on September 15, 2023, and are now facing charges of retail theft, conspiracy to commit retail theft, receiving stolen property, conspiracy to receive stolen property, and criminal mischief. In addition, Washington has an additional charge of possession of an instrument of crime.

Despite these allegations and the resulting charges, it is essential to bear in mind that an arrest or a criminal complaint does not constitute a declaration of guilt. Both Reynolds and Washington, like all suspects, are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
