Two Arrested in Oxford Following Vehicle Accident and Discovery of Firearm, Narcotics

Police News

OXFORD, PA — On February 5, 2024, at 8:03 pm, the Oxford Police Department responded to a single-vehicle accident on the 600 block of Market Street. Upon arrival, officers made contact with three adults and a small child who were occupants of the vehicle.

Through interviews with the occupants and multiple witnesses, officers discovered that a backpack had been removed from the vehicle before their arrival. This item was later located in the driveway of a nearby home.

Two of the vehicle’s occupants, Llenifer Ayllon, 24, of West Grove, and Robert Jimenez, 24, of Toughkenamon, were taken into custody. The pair were allegedly observed attempting to conceal items from the backpack, which included a loaded firearm. A search of the suspects and the backpack reportedly yielded a variety of narcotics and contraband.

Ayllon and Jimenez were transported to the Oxford Police station for processing before being taken to Chester County Prison. They were arraigned and failed to post cash bails of $50,000 and $25,000, respectively. A preliminary hearing for both has been scheduled for February 13, 2024, at the Oxford District Court.

Charges against Ayllon and Jimenez include possession of a firearm with an altered manufacturer’s number, carrying firearms without a license, possession of marijuana, two counts of possession of a controlled substance, two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia, intent to manufacture, deliver or possess with intent to deliver, and tampering with or fabricating physical evidence.

As this case moves forward, it’s crucial to note that information, a criminal complaint, or an arrest does not constitute a declaration of guilt. All suspects, including Ayllon and Jimenez, are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
