Twisted Tragedy: Man Accused in Shocking Fentanyl Death of 15-Year-Old Girl

Arrest

HARRISBURG, PA — Pennsylvania authorities have announced the arrest of a 27-year-old Allegheny County man, alleging his role in the fentanyl-related death of a 15-year-old girl from Oakdale. The case highlights the devastating impact of illicit drug activity and exploitation targeting vulnerable individuals.

Attorney General Dave Sunday revealed that Shakeirs Foster faces charges for drug delivery resulting in death, sexual extortion, and additional crimes following a joint investigation by the Office of Attorney General, North Fayette Police Department, and the 51st Statewide Investigating Grand Jury. His actions allegedly led to the girl’s death on May 14, 2024.

Investigators allege that Foster provided fentanyl bags, marked “MAFIA,” to the girl in exchange for sexual conduct after she approached him through social media for drugs, unable to pay with cash. Witnesses reportedly saw Foster entering and leaving her apartment building on May 7. Shortly after, the girl fell unconscious, prompting emergency responders to transport her to a hospital. Despite life-saving efforts, she succumbed to the effects of fentanyl exposure a week later.

“This is a tragedy beyond words,” said Attorney General Sunday. “Fentanyl is a cruel killer that takes lives and devastates families. We will aggressively pursue and prosecute offenders who peddle this poison.”

The victim’s death spotlights the ongoing danger of fentanyl, a synthetic opioid linked to countless overdose fatalities across the country. Authorities emphasize their commitment to holding those who profit from its distribution accountable. Foster was arrested at his workplace and will face prosecution by the Office of Attorney General’s Drug Strike Force Section.

All charges are currently allegations, and Foster is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
