WILMINGTON, DE — A robbery on Maryland Avenue resulted in the arrests of a 19-year-old Wilmington man and two juveniles, Delaware State Police reported.
The incident occurred on March 9, 2025, around 1:55 p.m., when a 19-year-old male was confronted by three individuals while walking on the sidewalk in the 400 block of Maryland Avenue. According to authorities, the suspects demanded the victim’s belongings, and when he refused, one of them struck him in the head before taking his property. The trio then fled the scene on foot.
During the subsequent investigation, the three suspects returned to the area and were apprehended without incident. Officers identified them as Jonathan Nock, 19, of Wilmington, and two 14-year-old males from Newark.
Nock was charged with second-degree robbery and second-degree conspiracy, both felonies. He was arraigned and committed to Howard R. Young Correctional Institution on a $16,000 secured bond.
One of the 14-year-old suspects was issued the same felony charges and released to a guardian on an $8,000 unsecured bond. The other juvenile faced identical charges but was committed to the New Castle County Detention Center with an $8,000 cash bond.
Police have confirmed that these allegations are under investigation, and all suspects are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
