WILMINGTON, DE — Three teenagers have been arrested in connection with a robbery that occurred Thursday afternoon at a 7-Eleven on Governor Printz Boulevard in Wilmington.
On March 27, 2025, at approximately 1:15 p.m., Delaware State Police were called to the convenience store at 4865 Governor Printz Boulevard after receiving a report of a robbery. Investigators learned that the three suspects, a 15-year-old male and two 16-year-old females, had previously been barred from entering the store due to multiple shoplifting incidents.
According to police, the incident escalated when the teenagers entered the store despite the ban. The store clerk asked them to leave, but they refused and began taking items from the shelves. When the clerk attempted to intervene and retrieve the items, the suspects allegedly assaulted her before fleeing the scene. The victim was later transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.
While detectives were investigating at the scene, the three suspects returned to the store and were identified through security footage. They were taken into custody without incident.
The arrested teenagers now face multiple charges. The 15-year-old male was charged with second-degree robbery and second-degree conspiracy, both of which are felonies. He was arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 11 and released to a guardian on a $2,000 unsecured bond.
One of the 16-year-old females was also charged with second-degree robbery and second-degree conspiracy. She, too, was released to a guardian on a $2,000 unsecured bond following her arraignment. However, the other 16-year-old female faced the same charges but was committed to the New Castle County Detention Center on a $2,000 secured bond.
Authorities emphasized that all individuals charged are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
