WILMINGTON, DE — A Selbyville man has been arrested by Wilmington Police in connection with an alleged burglary reported early Sunday morning.
On December 17, at approximately 7:49 a.m., officers from the Uniformed Services Division responded to the 100 block of North Scott Street after receiving a report of a burglary in progress. Upon arrival, officers encountered and detained 29-year-old Hector Rodriguez of Selbyville without incident.
Following the investigation, Rodriguez was charged with first-degree burglary and criminal mischief under $1,000. He was later arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 20 and remanded to Howard R. Young Correctional Institution pending further legal proceedings.
It is important to note that charges are merely allegations, and all individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
