SPRING CITY, PA — Stephen Brill, age 55, of Royersford, Montgomery County, faces charges of terroristic threats, harassment, and extortion following an incident at a Spring City restaurant. The charges were filed on May 28, 2024, after Brill allegedly demanded that the restaurant “pay the taxes” to “the big man,” while harassing patrons and leaving threatening notes.

According to the Spring City Police Department, Brill’s actions caused significant alarm among those present. The restaurant owner provided police with a license plate number and camera footage from the establishment, leading investigators to identify Brill as the suspect.
