Retail Theft at Giant Food Store in Thornbury Township Leads to Felony Arrest Warrant

WEST CHESTER, PA — A recent retail theft at the Giant Food Store in Thornbury Township, Chester County has led to an arrest warrant issued by the Westtown-East Goshen Regional Police Department.

The alleged incident took place on October 2, 2023, but was reported to the police department on October 9, 2023. The delayed report involved a significant amount of over-the-counter medicines, valued at over $380.00.

Following an in-depth investigation, 38-year-old Jennifer Lynn Hamm from Northeast, Maryland was identified as the suspect. Hamm is believed to have entered the store and stolen a large quantity of medication.

The charges levied against Hamm include:

  • Retail theft
  • Receiving stolen property
  • Additional related offenses

These charges have resulted in a felony arrest warrant being issued for Hamm. The warrant was granted by District Court 15-2-03, docket number MJ-15203-CR-0000243-2023.
