Quarryville Man Charged with Drug Distribution After Police Raid

QUARRYVILLE, PA — Jesus Torres of Quarryville faces multiple charges following a police raid on his apartment that uncovered a variety of narcotics and drug paraphernalia. Members of the Quarryville Borough Police Department executed a search warrant early on June 6, 2024, at an apartment on East State Street

Prior to the raid, officers conducted undercover narcotic purchases and surveilled Torres’s apartment. During the search, police discovered 3.5 grams of crack cocaine, approximately 2 pounds of marijuana, digital scales, packaging materials, and prepackaged narcotics.

Torres was taken into custody at the scene. He has been charged with possession with intent to distribute, possession of narcotics, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Magisterial District Justice William R. Mankin arraigned Torres and set his bail at $100,000 straight. Unable to post bail, Torres was committed to Lancaster County Prison.

All charges against Torres are allegations. He is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
