Porch Pirate Strikes in Middletown—Police Need Your Help to Catch the Thief

MIDDLETOWN, DE — Authorities are asking for assistance from the public in identifying a suspect linked to a package theft that occurred in the Thomas Cove neighborhood of Middletown on Thursday, February 27, 2025.

At approximately 12:43 p.m., an unidentified female allegedly stole a package from the front porch of a residence in the area. Police have released images showing the suspect, who arrived at the scene in a white four-door sedan, which is visible in the background of the photos.

The New Castle County Division of Police urges anyone with information about this incident or who can identify the individual to come forward. Contact M/Cpl.
