Police Seek Suspect in Vandalism at Philadelphia Police Garage

PHILADELPHIA, PAPhiladelphia police are searching for a suspect involved in a vandalism incident at the police parking garage on March 7, 2025.

The incident occurred at approximately 7:42 a.m. when the suspect allegedly damaged the keypad intercom system of the police garage located at 1501 Callowhill Street. After the act of vandalism, the individual fled north on 16th Street from the 1500 block of Callowhill Street.

The suspect is described as a white male wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt, gray shorts, and blue sneakers.

Authorities urge anyone with information about the crime or the suspect to contact the Central Detective Division at 215-686-3093 or 215-686-3094. Tips can also be submitted confidentially by calling 215.686.TIPS (8477).

The public is advised not to approach the suspect if recognized and to report any sightings directly to 911. The case remains under active investigation.

An arrest, criminal complaint, or information does not declare guilt. A suspect or defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.
