Pennsylvania Man’s Double Voting Scheme Exposed—Sentenced for Threatening Election Integrity!

Court News

PHILADELPHIA, PA — Philip C. Pulley, 62, of Huntington Valley, Pennsylvania, was sentenced to three years of probation and 100 hours of community service, along with a $9,500 fine, for multiple election fraud offenses. The sentencing was handed down on Thursday by Chief United States District Court Judge Mitchell S. Goldberg. Pulley was also ordered to write a letter explaining his actions.

Pulley pleaded guilty in September to charges of falsely registering to vote, double voting, and other election-related crimes detailed in information filed in August 2024. Investigators determined that from 2018 to 2022, Pulley illegally registered to vote in multiple jurisdictions, including Montgomery County, Philadelphia County, and Broward County, Florida. He used false information, including fraudulent addresses and a social security number, to manipulate voter registration systems. Additionally, he cast ballots in both Montgomery and Philadelphia counties during the 2022 general election.

Citing the critical importance of election integrity, U.S. Attorney Jacqueline C. Romero stated, “Free and fair elections are critical to the health of our democracy, and people who seek to corrupt the process can dangerously erode the public’s trust.”

The FBI’s Philadelphia Special Agent in Charge, Wayne A. Jacobs, highlighted the significance of the case, asserting that “safeguarding the right to participate in free and fair elections is a cornerstone of our democracy.”

The investigation was conducted by the FBI and the Pennsylvania Attorney General’s Office. It was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorneys Nancy E. Potts and Mark B. Dubnoff, with support from James Price, Senior Deputy Attorney General and Special Assistant United States Attorney.
