Pedestrian Hit-and-Run in Wilmington Leaves Three Critically Injured

WILMINGTON, DEWilmington Police are currently investigating a hit-and-run incident that resulted in serious injuries to three pedestrians early Saturday morning. The collision occurred at approximately 2:02 a.m. in the 1600 block of Delaware Avenue.

Upon arrival, officers discovered that the three female pedestrians, aged 33, 35, and 36, had been struck by a vehicle. The driver of the involved vehicle fled the scene immediately after the impact. The victims were promptly transported to a nearby hospital, where they remain in critical condition.

The Wilmington Police Department’s Special Operations Division/Traffic Unit is actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the collision. As the investigation progresses, authorities advise that details of the incident may be updated.
