PARKESBURG, PA — The Parkesburg Borough Police Department has arrested Nicholas Edward Walter, 31, on drug-related charges. The arrest followed the execution of a search warrant at his residence on January 12, 2024.

The search warrant, executed in the 400 block of West Sixth Avenue, was approved after police developed information suggesting potential drug activity at the residence. The arrest took place on January 18, 2024, six days after the search warrant was carried out.

While the arrest signals a potential breakthrough in the investigation, it is important to remember that an arrest is not a declaration of guilt. Walter, like all suspects, is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
