Parkesburg Police Arrest Local Man for Criminal Mischief

PARKESBURG, PA — On Friday, the Parkesburg Police Department arrested Charles Roscoe Whyte, 45, on charges of Criminal Mischief and related offenses. The arrest stems from a vandalism incident that occurred in the 300 block of Main Street on May 7, 2023.

During the course of their investigation, police identified Mr. Whyte as the suspect after reviewing video surveillance footage which captured the incident. The evidence led to his subsequent arrest nearly six months later.

The Parkesburg Police Department has not yet announced a date for a preliminary hearing at District Court 15-3-07. Further updates regarding this case will be provided if and when more information becomes available.

Information, a criminal complaint, or an arrest is not a declaration of guilt. A suspect, arrestee, or defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
